Thanks to its strategic geographical position, this hill gathers in harmony the deep and compact grounds of the Helvetian side of the Barolo area (represented by the villages of Monforte d’Alba, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba) and the gentler and softer ones of the Tortonian component, well characterised by the hamlets of La Morra and Verduno. The land of Carrubi, together with the other micro-climatic components, infuse an incredibly delicate richness of characters in the bunches of Nebbiolo destined to become Barolo; in all the characters of this Barolo it’s not vehemence to prevail, not the redundant structure, but the elegant harmony of colour, scent an flavour.
